In your sample session, I invite you to discuss
your own eating struggles, ask key questions and we will talk
about solutions regarding your individual concerns.
What happens during our initial session?
If we see each other in person, I would offer
you a soothing cup of tea while you comfortably fill out the
Health History form in my cozy office. (If youre calling
in for your phone consultation, I would encourage you to prepare
yourself by setting aside one hour of uninterrupted time. Youll
be much more present and will get more out of the call.) When
youve completed the form, we simply have a conversation
about your health concerns. We will talk about specifics;
whats been bothering you, whats worked, what hasnt,
what youve been eating, and any other pertinent information
regarding your health. I listen intently, and listen some more.
My goal is to figure out how to help you, as an individual. Then
we can outline goals that we would focus on, in our work
together.
Most importantly, you get to interview me.
You see, its important that we like each other. Our work
together would be a close partnership. I only work with people
who are willing to laugh and are interested in making getting
healthy fun! A sense of humor is an absolute must! I work
best with high-achievers, those with a touch of the young-at-heart
syndrome. J I work with

or temporary plan.
And of course, I will gladly tell you about the
programs that I offer. I welcome questions! After all,
we may decide this isnt the right time or simply not the
right fit for you. If that happens, no problem. Id be
glad to offer some advice on how to get you to where YOU want
to go I have tons of resources and referral sources
to help you on your way. Whatever that may be!
